One of the few: Avaya gives “diamond” to Asteros

Asteros – a Russian leader in IT consulting, infrastructure and security – confirms its position by becoming a Diamond partner with Avaya. It is the third Russian company that was awarded the highest rank by the telecom giant, the other two being Delta Telecom and Croc Inc.

In recent years, Asteros has become the largest Russian IT infrastructure developer serving a wide range of customers from banking sector, transportation, communications and other. The company has a record of more than 40 contact centers designed and built according to the high-end standards set by Avaya. The most renowned projects include: The Safe City center in Sochi during the Winter Olympics 2014; from-the-ground-up development of Megafon contact-centers across Russia; upgraded call-centers of the Moscow emergency service, gas and electricity commissions; and numerous streamlined centers for the largest national banks.

Avaya named Asteros its Platinum partner 8 years ago; in January 2016, however, the Russian company received Diamond Enterprise VAR status as the vendor introduced updates to its system of partnerships. A Diamond status opens to Asteros a widerange of privileges, allowing customers to enjoy the latest offers by Avaya and use the extended customer support on the partner’s products.

To prove its Diamond status, Asteros had to meet the partnership requirements including business statistics, technological capacities and customers evaluation. In the report by Avaya, the customer satisfaction score (CSAT) reaches 4.25 with a threshold of 3.5. Despite the complicated financial situation in the country, the integrator also showed satisfactory statistics when it came to revenue and turnover (even though Avaya has doubled the limit in this aspect), and successfully passed technological testing by the independent experts from Pearson VUE.

“The telecom boom has given a push to a complete renovation of the customer service. With the help of Avaya, we can figure out solutions for any customer, whatever their expectations and possibilities may be, - says Valery Sokolyuk, the Head of the Infrastructure and Telecom Solutions of Asteros.

“We express our highest appreciation to our vendor for the long-term cooperation, and look forward to working together on future projects.

Asteros also holds the top partnership status with some other leading telecom companies, including Cisco and Polycom. “Avaya and Cisco offer similar products, however we believe that Cisco is an absolute winner when it comes to networking, while Avaya has to deal more with contact-center development. We at Asteros try to use the solutions of all our vendors when designing our own projects, - says the company representative.
